The Men of St. John's

The MOSJ is a way for all men of the church to share in Christian fellowship, outreach, benevolence, and a bit of fun. All men are welcome to participate as much or as little as desiredor able, and  most events do not require any sign up in advance – just show up and enjoy.

The MOSJ has many opportunities for participation:

  • We have breakfast periodically at the Church on Saturday mornings

  • We provide outreach and service to the Pleasant Valley Men’s Shelter and other outside
    groups

  • We work together with the Women of St. John’s on the annual Church picnic

  • Every April and October we run a flea market in the undercroft

  • Annually we host the Pork and Kraut dinner, a food and fellowship event that has been a St. John’s tradition for several decades

  • Every January we host the St. John’s chili, soup and corn bread cook off, raising funds for the North Hills Food Bank

Events are listed in the bulletin, the Crossbeams, and on our bulletin board in the hallway in the undercroft. You can also contact Jim Graham at menofstjohns@gmail.com to be included on the email list so you are kept aware of what is going on. But the best way to participate is to just show up. All are welcome.
